Rules of Play

  1. Courts are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Players must sign in and list the time you enter the court.
  2. Singles play is for one (1) hour. Doubles play is for two (2) hours meaning four players can book two-back to back hours.
  3. Courts can only be held for 10 minutes. If you and/or your partner isnÔÇÖt on court, the court should be relinquished to the next group on the list.
  4. Players who have already played 30 minutes or more (will be considered repeaters) may sign up for the next available court. If one repeater is on the court, all players are considered repeaters. If people are waiting, players must relinquish the court. Individual players (whether it be for singles or doubles) can not sign up for consecutive hours of play beyond what is already allowed.
  5. With the exception of the teaching courts players are not allowed to use more than 6 balls on a court.
  6. Following inclement weather, we ask players to use the available brooms and rollers to clear water, leaves and debris from the courts before play.
  7. Wheeled objects including bicycles, strollers, shopping carts, scooters and heavy objects are not allowed on the courts. Please lock up outside the courts.
  8. Proper tennis shoes should be used at all times.
  9. Dogs are not allowed on the courts.
  10. Unauthorized teaching is not allowed on these courts.
  11. No consumption of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances are allowed while on courts.
  12. The decision of the attendant regarding the interpretation of these rules is final. Abusive language and/or inappropriate behavior will result in forfeiture of your playing privileges.
